Our Transform Together scholarships are open to students from any non-EU country applying to study at Sheffield Hallam University to enrol in the 2013/14 academic year. All full-time postgraduate and undergraduate taught courses are taking part in the programme.

The scholarships will be awarded to well-qualified students who demonstrate academic, personal or professional achievement on their scholarship application form. Successful applicants will be awarded with a certificate to mark their achievement following enrolment on their course.

The scholarships include a one-year full tuition fee waiver for full-time taught postgraduate courses and 50% tuition fee discount for each year of an undergraduate course (subject to successful progression). International Office Scholarship of Britol University - UK

The University of Bristol is delighted to announce ten International Office Scholarships for new international students:

• Five scholarships of £8,500 each will be available for prospective undergraduate students for 2013 entry.
  This is divided as follows: £3,000 in Year One, £3,000 in Year Two and £2,500 in Year Three. No awards will be made for subsequent years.
• Five scholarships of £8,500 each will be available for prospective Masters students for 2013 entry.

Who can apply?

Eligible students:

• All applicants must be classed as overseas students for fee purposes.
• All applicants must already hold an offer of a place on a full-time undergraduate or masters programme at the University of Bristol.
• Applicants may be from any discipline.
• Sponsored students and students in receipt of another scholarship/award over £3000 are not eligible to apply.
• Current University of Bristol students are not eligible to apply.

University of The West London Scholarship Programme

The University of the West of England (UWE), Bristol offers more than £600,000 worth of scholarships for international students each year.

• Academic Merit Scholarship

UWE offers scholarships of up to £1,500 to overseas students who have demonstrated academic merit. To be eligible, students must have already submitted an application and received an unconditional offer from UWE onto a new programme.

We consider applications when they are received, so we strongly recommend applying as early as possible.

A full tuition fee scholarship will be awarded to two outstanding students to study a one year postgraduate programme at UWE.

Recipients of this scholarship will be required to undertake an internship working within the International Development Office and other departments and will also be required to undertake ambassadorial activity for the University throughout the duration of the course.

How much the amount of the scholarships?

The scholarship includes Full tuition fee waiver, accommodation, living expenses and flights to and from London.

It is interesting, isn't it? Based on my research by corresponding and discussing with some of my friends in England, the most expensive part of our living cost if we are studying in London is ACCOMMODATION. Furthermore this scholarships is good enough although it does not include the monthly stipend. 

But I guess you do not need to worry since the regulation in England allows the student to do the part time job for about 20 hours per week. So it is a very good chance to study abroad.

Beasiswa S2/S3 Inggris 2013 (4) - Beasiswa SAME

Scheme for Academic Mobility and Exchange (SAME) Tahun 2013

Direktorat Jenderal Pendidikan Tinggi (DIKTI) menawarkan program Scheme for Academic Mobility and Exchange (SAME) Tahun 2013 bagi para dosen.

SAME adalah program mobility and exchange yang diperuntukkan bagi dosen tetap PTN/PTS yang sudah bergelar Doktor atau Guru Besar untuk berbagai bidang ilmu. Program ini bertujuan memberi kesempatan kepada dosen untuk melakukan pendidikan dan/atau penelitian dengan mitra perguruan tinggi di luar negeri dan penyegaran keilmuan. Pengiriman dosen dalam rangka penugasan khusus dalam misi seni atau budaya, sebagai penutur bahasa Indonesia di perguruan tinggi luar negeri, serta sebagai staf perwakilan lembaga dunia/internasional di luar negeri. Program SAME diluncurkan pada tahun 2012, yang merupakan penyempurnaan dari Porgram Academic Recharging (PAR) yang sudah dilaksanakan sejak tahun 2009.

Tahun 2013, Direktorat Pendidik dan Tenaga Kependidikan (DIKTENDIK) menyempurnakan program SAME dengan menambahkan program/Dosen Peneliti Tamu untuk diundang ke Indonesia yang bertujuan untuk mendukung program internasionalisasi Perguruan Tinggi Dalam Negeri (PT-DN).

Beasiswa S2/S3 Inggris 2013 (3) - Beasiswa Peningkatan Kualitas Publikasi Internasional (Sandwich-Like)

Salah satu bentuk kontribusi dosen di tingkat internasional adalah melalui publikasi karya ilmiah dalam jurnal yang bertaraf internasional. Guna menghasilkan publikasi tersebut dipandang perlu untuk melakukan penguatan pascasarjana dalam negeri, dengan menerapkan model pencangkokan/magang ke beberapa pembimbing bertaraf internasional di Luar Negeri (sandwich-like). 

Sehubungan dengan hal tersebut, dan dengan telah selesainya Sosialisasi Program Peningkatan Kualitas Publikasi yang dilaksanakan pada Desember 2012 lalu, bersama ini kami sampaikan tawaran untuk mengikuti program tersebut untuk tahun anggaran 2013, dengan ketentuan sebagai berikut:

• Indonesia-UK DIKTI Scholarship Program atau program beasiswa DIKTI kerjasama Indonesia-UK.  

Program beasiswa ini prosedurnya sama dengan program beasiswa yang biasanya disiapkan oleh DIKTI. Beberapa utusan DIKTI melakukan kunjungan ke Inggris dan berhasil melakukan MoU untuk memberikan kesempatan kepada rekan-rekan dosen/staf di PTN/PTS agar bisa kuliah S2/S3 di Inggris. Karena beasiswa ini sama dengan beasiswa untuk Dosen/Staf PTN/PTS oleh DIKTI, maka berikut adalah informasi lengkap beasiswa ini.
